Post-Construction Clean Up
Construction cleanup gets broken down into two types, rough cleaning and final cleaning. For most homes, you’ll want to do a final, thorough cleaning prior to moving into your new home or remodel.
Rough Interior Clean
$0.13 per sq ft.
This generally happens during construction prior to adding the final element, such as floors. This type of construction site cleaning job generally includes:
- Sweeping and prepping floor.
- Washing all interior windows
- Dusting surfaces
- Removing debris
Final Clean
$0.20 per sq ft.
A good final interior cleanup always includes:
- Walls, including removing dust, dirt, scuff marks and smudges
- Ceilings and light fixtures/fans
- Dust and sweep all baseboards and door and window frames
- Floors, including buffing/waxing if applicable or vacuuming carpet
- Windows, including tracks and frames
- Removing all trash, plastic coverings and stickers
